Week 27 - Crock Beef and Ale

The Recipe
2 tsp olive oil
500g beef stew meat, cubed
1 onion, in wedges
2 sliced carrots
1 bell pepper, sliced
6 oz beer
3 oz tomato paste
15g Italian salad dressing mix
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste.

Place all ingredients in a crock-pot. Stire to combine. Cover and cook on LOWfor 6-8 hours.

Serve with mashed potatoes.

The Verdict
Not my favourite crock-pot meal, but not bad either. Even though I don't generally like beer, it gave an interesting taste to this meal.
